SEO quick tip for getting natural backlinks: make it EASY for visitors to quote/cite/link back to you.

The pre-requisite is that you need great content (this works esp. well with data analysis), but I add a very simple tool to the end of posts making it a cinch to copy + paste.

If you have valuable data and insights to share (and some traffic to the pages!) you might see something similar. Here's one example from a site of mine which has data in the jobs/careers space.
