# Build programmatic SEO content with data

The more I look at the companies winning with SEO (in Google, in ChatGPT Search, in Perplexity) the more I am convinced that programmatic SEO will be THE way to create content going forward

At the solo level you have @levelsio and @dannypostma constantly winning with programmatic pages.

Funny how neither of them ever talk about Google algorithm updates because they aren't getting hit by them..

@ProductHunt are on a tear with their SEO recently and @zapier did so well from it they are pretty much the first name mentioned when anybody talks about how to automate SEO at scale with a focus on conversion

The typical informational blog post generated in one-click (or a few) from an AI tool isn't gonna cut it any more.

can it rank right now? yes, but eventually all AI models won't even need prompting to not "delve" and "dive" and "explore"

When that happens it's going to come back to actually having something useful to say. And that comes from data (maybe AI generated, maybe from APIs, maybe manually collected, maybe your own data)

Content built around data is:

\- more focused (AI isn't hallucinating and making shit up)
\- more useful (because it can go deeper than surface level LLM output usually does)
\- more likely to be shared/linked to (which is how you get brand mentions and picked up in Perplexity, ChatGPT Search)

If you make money from display advertising or affiliate, then the OG approach has some legs in it still

but for software, ecommerce, or marketplace companies, conversion led pSEO powered by data is going to be the best customer acquisition channel you have!
