# Why Lovable rendering needs an SEO check

April 25, 2025

Vibe coders: Lovable has a big SEO problem

by default it renders on the client side, which means google cannot see that content and you will struggle to get indexed or rank for any keywords

worth considering if you care about search engines (or LLMs) being able to view content!

It can't do it, so says to use either Next.js or static pre-rendering

okay, let's try pre-rendering ↓

nope, couldn't do it and after a couple of errors resorted back to client side, no content visible

Asked it to try again with SSG and it still failed and couldn't build it

lol it won't even let you do a Next.js project
