# Improve Codex CLI conversations with a global prompt

October 16, 2025

one thing i noticed with codex cli is that when you queue up lots of messages it can sometimes have questions and you have to scroll back a lot to read them.

i added a global prompt to always list questions at the very end so i can quickly respond

works very well!
